Few months ago we talked about 4 Reasons Why Branding Is Not A Waste of Money. Today we want to talk about the most effective way to create that brand visibility that is so necessary not only to stay in business, but also to foster growth.
With so many brands out there, driving attention to your brand can be really challenging. So, here’s a little “secret”: buying is an emotions driven process! Believe it or not, this happens every single time a person makes a purchasing decision, regardless of his/her levels of rationality and logical thinking. It’s the emotion what triggers the thought process that justifies the purchase. I’m not going to spend too much time backing up what I just said (should I say ‘wrote’?) You can check this out yourself by looking within, asking people you know how they make their buying decisions, and/or looking this up on the Internet. There are countless examples that prove it.
Now, let’s play a little imagination game and say that you verified what I said above and that I am right. The next logical thought may be “what does that have to do with making my brand more visible?” The answer to this question is simple. If you make people feel good about what you offer, not only they will want to buy from you over and over again, but they will also want to share their experience with others, which will make your brand more visible.
However, that’s not the only thing you need to take into account. This is the first step, but certainly not the only one. Here are a few other elements I recommend you to keep in mind in order to get the right exposure.
- Make sure that your brand is easily recognizable every single time you create a great buying experience for your customers. Failure to do this will not create the effect you want. How do you do that? First of all, include a clean, professional looking logo everywhere you can: apparel, signage, print material, promotional products, and digital materials.
- Make sure people know where to find you. Address, phone number, email address, website URL, and social media handles are key to achieve this. This information (or at least some of it) can be easily included in t-shirts, banners, and both print and digital materials.
- Ask your customers/clients to provide you with a testimonial and/or an online review. You can also ask them to take pictures of them or their team wearing/using what they bought from you. Since their experience was so good, they will hardly say no to your request. This is a great and real brand exposure. And at low cost!
And of course, remember to make sure you include your logo, other brand elements (like icons) and your contact information everywhere you can think of. At Instant Imprints, we would be more than happy to provide you a free consultation to listen and assist you with your brand visibility needs.
